CONVOCATORIA CERRADA / OPEN CALL CLOSED
Se invita a creadores de todas partes del mundo a postular con propuestas de investigación para el desarrollo de una residencia artística de un mes de duración en la ciudad de Antofagasta. Dicha propuesta debe ir ligada a una de estas cinco líneas de investigación:
Astronomía
Movimientos migratorios – multiculturalidad latinoamericana
Patrimonio postindustrial
Geología – Mineralogía
Microbiología – estudio de ecosistemas locales
Se busca que los seleccionados desarrollen un trabajo de campo que les conecte con el territorio del norte de Chile, utilizando para ello su experiencia como creadores y alguna de las cinco temáticas de investigación previamente señaladas. Los proyectos de residencia deben además considerar el desarrollo de una presentación a la comunidad en forma de charla, donde se dé a conocer o divulgue el proceso de investigación.
Posterior a la residencia, se evaluará la posibilidad de que el residente sea invitado como artista expositor a la Bienal SACO1.3 en 2027, de acuerdo a la investigación que haya realizado, conclusiones que haya presentado en la charla pública, y en general al potencial creativo que pudiese tener para abordar la temática, por definir, de la próxima edición de la bienal.abordar la temática, por definir, de la próxima edición de la bienal.
Creators from all over the world are invited to apply with research proposals for the development of a one-month artistic residency in the region of Antofagasta. The proposal must be linked to one of these five lines of research:
Astronomy
Migratory movements – Latin American multiculturalism
Post-industrial heritage
Geology – mineralogy
Microbiology – study of local ecosystems
The aim is for those selected to carry out fieldwork that connects them with the territory of northern Chile, using their experience as creators and one of the five research topics mentioned above. Residency projects must also include the development of a presentation to the community in the form of a talk, where the research process is presented or disseminated.
